This policy describes the ways we collect, store, use and protect your personal information. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Calibrated Software does not own or control, or to people that Calibrated Software does not employ or manage. You accepted this policy when you registered your account and/or purchased software thru this site. We may amend this policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it. We last modified this Policy on January 19, 2024.
Information Collection: Calibrated Software collects customer information (name, email address, address, zip code, phone number, etc) when a user creates a Customer Account on our website in order to purchase or download products on this website, or for marketing purposes. Customers can opt-out of receiving marketing emails during the registration process or thru their Customer Account; see the opt-out section below.
Customer Account information is stored on our License Server when a Software License is ordered by a Customer, and computer information is also stored on the License Server when a Software License is activated on computer – please see the product’s Software License Agreement for more information.
Calibrated Software does not collect or store any credit card information on our website. Calibrated Software contracts with a third party payment processor to collect, store and process payments for products and services sold on this website.
Supplementation of Information: In order to process your Credit Card orders, we use PayPal and Stripe, third party services, to validate and verify your credit card information and billing information. All billing and account info is transmitted via https which is a secure encrypted protocol system.
Sharing Policy: Calibrated Software will not sell any information provided to this website. Calibrated Software may release or share any information under the following circumstances:
a. To third-party companies or government agencies to respond to subpoenas, court orders, legal proceedings, or to exercise our legal rights and/or defend against legal claims, to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, violations of our Terms of Use, violations of our Software License Agreements, or as otherwise required by law.
b. To resellers, service providers, suppliers, or companies that help with our business operations, such as credit card processors, licensing companies, billing and refund processors, and companies that help us improve our product and service offerings on our website. These service providers, suppliers or vendors are required not to use your information for any other purpose than to facilitate a specific service requested by Calibrated Software.
c. We may share aggregate data, such as user statistics (for example, a certain percentage of our users are female) in order to describe our services to prospective partners, advertisers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes.
d. When Customers purchase Calibrated Software products thru approved Calibrated Software Resellers, these resellers will have limited access to to customer information for those customer’s that the reseller directly sells to.
e. In the unlikely event that Calibrated Software or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets.
Cookies: Calibrated Software uses cookies in certain parts of our site to increase site security and usability. These cookies do not record your personal information and are used only to enhance your online experience at this website. You can view the cookies we use here.
Usage Tracking: Calibrated Software records the IP Address, browser type, referring URL and other non-personal information of any website visitor for security reasons, and to track the popularity and usability of this website. Information collected for website usage statistics does not contain personal information about the website visitor.
For security purposes, Calibrated Software records the IP Address on our License Server when a Customer activates/deactivates a Software License on a computer.
For security and popularity purposes, Calibrated Software makes a record of when your Customer Account downloads our software from our website and activates/deactivates our software for our License Server.
External Links: This site contains links to other websites. We do not release any personal information provided to Calibrated Software to these other websites under any circumstances. Calibrated Software does not endorse or guarantee the privacy practices of websites that are accessed via links on Calibrated Software.
Security: The security of your personal information is important to us. All information provided to Calibrated Software is processed over a secure (SSL) connection to prevent the interception of data during registration.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Data Retention: Calibrated Software keeps customer information about our customers as long as needed in order to provide service to our customers. We retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Please note that certain customer information is required for our Software Licensing to work, in the event you want us to remove this information that your Software License is dependent on would result in your Software License being canceled and revoked without a refund – please see the product’s Software License Agreement for more information.
Opt-Out: This site gives registered users the following options to not receive future communications regarding our products and services. Registered users can login to their account and change their email reception preference in the Communication section.
Update: This site gives users the following options for changing and modifying information previously provided. Registered Users can login to their account and update their information in the ‘account’ Section.
