How can I use the SmoothCam filter in Final Cut Pro with MP4 Files?
The SmoothCam filter can only be applied to files in Final Cut Pro with a TypeCode of 'MooV' (the TypeCode of QuickTime MOV Files)

To change the TypeCode of the MP4 File with Calibrated{Q} MP4-EX Import v1.5, please do the following:

1. Set the Auto-Change TypeCode in the CalibratedQMP4EXOptions.app to 'MooV'

2. Make sure that your MP4 files that you wish to use with the SmoothCam Filter are 'unlocked'. You can check if a MP4 File is 'unlocked' by right-clicking on the MP4 file in Finder and choosing 'Get Info'. In the General Tab of the 'Get Info' window you will see a checkbox labeled 'Locked' - this needs to be unchecked.

3. Now whenever Calibrated{Q} MP4-EX Import is used to open a MP4 File, it will automatically change the TypeCode of the file to 'MooV' which will allow you to use the SmoothCam Filter.

4. To read more about this feature, please read the Calibrated{Q} MP4-EX User Guide PDF
