Our Calibrated{Q} software products are QuickTime components (i.e. QuickTime plugins) that can let you work with different types of file formats or video compressions in QuickTime Player and many other applications that support QuickTime. Below is a list of our products with brief descriptions.

Calibrated{Q} products:

• Calibrated{Q} MXF Import is a QuickTime Import component that can parse and open MXF files in QuickTime Player or specific 3rd party application that support QuickTime. Please note that Calibrated{Q} MXF Import does not decode any of the video in MXF files. All video decoding is done by the appriorate QuickTime video codecs installed on your computer. There is also a 'helper' application called Calibrated{Q} Import Assist which enables you to create QT Ref MOV files or Self-Contained MOV files of supported MXF files. For more information on Calibrated{Q} Import Assist , please see the the Calibrated{Q} Import Assist User Guide(PDF) here. Please note that the proper QuickTime Video Codecs would need to be installed on your computer to decode any of the video in the QT Ref MOV or Self-Contained MOV files.
  
  
• Calibrated{Q} MP4-EX Import is a QuickTime Import component that can parse and open XDCAM EX MP4 files in QuickTime Player or specific 3rd party application that support QuickTime. Please note that Calibrated{Q} MP4-EX Import does not decode any of the video in XDCAM EX MP4 files. All video decoding is done by the appriorate QuickTime video codecs installed on your computer. • Calibrated{Q} AVC-Intra Decode is a multi-threaded QuickTime Video Codec (Decode Only) that enables you to view and use QuickTime AVC-Intra .MOV files in QuickTime Player and other 3rd party applications that support QuickTime. When Calibrated{Q} AVC-Intra Decode is used together with Calibrated{Q} MXF Import, you can playback P2 AVC-Intra and supported OP1a AVC-Intra MXF files in QuickTime Player or CatDV. Please see the Calibrated{Q} MXF Import User Guide for more details. Please note that Calibrated{Q} MXF Import and Calibrated{Q} AVC-Intra Decode are separate products and each product requires its own purchased Software License.
  
  
• Calibrated{Q} XD Decode is a multi-threaded QuickTime Video Codec (Decode Only) that enables you to view and use QuickTime XDCAM HD/EX/HDV .MOV files in QuickTime Player and other 3rd party applications that support QuickTime. When Calibrated{Q} XD Decode is used together with Calibrated{Q} MXF Import, you can playback supported XDCAM HD .MXF files in QuickTime Player or CatDV. When Calibrated{Q} XD Decode is used together with Calibrated{Q} MP4-EX Import, you can playback XDCAM EX .MP4 files in QuickTime Player 7 or CatDV. • Calibrated{Q} DV50 Decode (Windows Only) is a multi-threaded QuickTime Video Codec (Decode Only) that enables you to view and use QuickTime DV50 .MOV files in QuickTime Player and other 3rd party applications that support QuickTime. When Calibrated{Q} DV50 Decode is used together with Calibrated{Q} MXF Import, you can playback P2 DVCProHD and supported OP1a DVCProHD MXF files in QuickTime Player or CatDV. • Calibrated{Q} AVC-Intra Encode is a QuickTime Codec (Encode Only) that enables you to export out QuickTime AVC-Intra MOV files from 3rd party applications that support QuickTime. To view or playback AVC-Intra .MOV files in applications that support QuickTime, you need to have either FCP7, FCP X, Compressor 3.5/4 or Calibrated{Q} AVC-Intra Decode installed on your computer and properly licensed. Avid Media Composer 5.5.1 or greater can import AVC-Intra .MOV files natively using AMA Linking. (earlier versions of Avid MC have not been tested). Please note that Calibrated{Q} AVC-Intra Encode and Calibrated{Q} AVC-Intra Decode are separate products and each product requires its own purchased Software License.
